Chris Taylor – Co-Opted School Governor
Chris is a Co-opted governor and was appointed by the governing body on 29th September 2016.
I have lived in Sutton on Trent since 2014 with my partner Kay and our two children, both attending Sutton on Trent Primary school. Still developing my varied working career, which has included roles such as cutting up cars in a scrap yard, to designing large complex IT solutions.. and quite a bit in between. There will probably be more to come yet. I enjoy bowing to my children's every need (as most parents do), and when I have time racing my F2 sidecar, walking the dog or hiding from the world in the garden (I can get the ride on mower to wheelie.. but am not sure if that is a good thing!)
I became a school governor to give something back to the community and hopefully enable the school in some way. I'd like to think I have a variety of skills, based on sound practical experience including Financial, Organisational, Analysis and Technical but predominantly understanding the bigger picture, key decisions and influences.
