Julia has been a governor since 2009.

I have been a teacher for 31 years, teaching initially in London until moving to Newark 16 years ago with my husband and 3 sons. During my career I have taught from Foundation Stage up to Year 6 and have been at Sutton On Trent for 10 years, teaching mainly Yr 5 & 6., then moving more recently to KS1.  This is the longest that I have been at any one school - our ethos of looking after the whole child is very much part of the reason for this.
