I have lived in Sutton-on-Trent my whole life and attended Sutton-on-Trent primary school as a pupil myself. I live on Church Street and see children and families coming and going to and from school regularly. Because of this I feel connected to the school in a way that makes me want to be a part of its continuing journey and success. I want to offer my time to bring benefit to the children who wander past my house daily and I hope to get satisfaction from being a part of providing them with the best education we can. 

I have been a secondary school teacher for 6 years and am now a SENDCo at a high needs autism special school. I believe my experience in education will allow me to positively contribute to the school and be objective, but informed, in how I approach the role.
