I joined the Governing Body with a view to giving something back to my own community and its residents. In an evolving digital world there is need to ensure that the adoption of Technology has a positive impact for all concerned and I aim to work with the my peers, the school and it’s staff and pupils to ensure that can happen both safely and successfully.

I have lived in the village with my wife Ellie and our two children since 2013, both my son and daughter attend the school

My career began as an IT Service Desk Analyst 20+ years ago in the City of London. My working life has been spent within technical support teams with the large majority of my time spent looking after large Windows networks and enterprise email solutions. Today I am responsible for an International team that provides technology infrastructure services and support to one of the largest financial groups in the world.

My role involves all aspects of people management, including recruitment, development and performance management. In addition to recruiting subject matter experts I have also incorporated apprenticeship placements into my team. I continue to work hard to provide opportunities to any individual that has the the desire and motivation to succeed in an environment that is often dominated by and often only accessible to university graduates.

In my workplace I am a member of the Corporate, Social Responsibility Committee which aims to ensure we have a positive impact on the local community. I am also a Parish Councillor. I joined the Governing Body with a view to giving something back to my own community and its residents. Technology continues to interest me and I enjoy spending my limited spare time implementing solutions in the home as well as supporting family and friends. I’m not entirely IT focused and also have interests in DIY, films and Formula 1 (not quite the full nerd).
