Hello and welcome!
The PTA is set up to support the school by raising money to enhance, enrich and improve the learning experiences of the children.
We hope that through our activities we also help to bring the school and home communities closer together.
Joining the PTA is a great chance to meet new people throughout the school community and have fun!
The PTA Team
The PTA events/activities are run by a committee and network of parents/teachers who are all volunteers.
People give as much or as little time as they choose and we try to utilise our volunteers existing skills and passions where we can.
Every parent/carer who has a child at Sutton-on-Trent Primary and Nursery School is automatically a member of the PTA. If you’d like to play a more active role then please get in touch. We have meetings roughly once a month. The dates and times of meetings and events are advertised on our Facebook Page and in the weekly School Newsletter.

It’s been great to get back to having our usual events again this academic year. So far we’ve been able to have:
The Halloween Disco - Always a fun evening seeing the whole school dressed up and some crazy dancing!
Christmas Cards - Brilliant quality personalised cards, wrapping paper, key rings, magnets and more.
Christmas Fair and Raffle - Held straight after school the hall is transformed with lots of games, raffles, crafts and a visit from Santa. Yet again the wine to water stall proved the most popular selling out within 30 minutes!
Break The Rules Day - Our first break the rules day was very popular with the children. They came to school with multi coloured hair, mad clothes, tattoos and painted nails.
Textile Recycling - The response to the collection was fantastic. We received far more bags of clothes than we were expecting.
Cake Sale - The donations were very tasty and we sold out!
Pre-loved Uniform Sale - We aim to have a uniform sale once every half term. It’s a great chance to stock up and grab a bargain.
Virtual Book Sale - A huge range of brand new books to choose from and only £2.50 each!
Chocolate Bingo - Friday 25th March, 5.30pm - 6.30pm
Family Photo Shoot - Saturday 25th June, 10am - Midday
Summer Fair - Friday 1st July, 3.30pm - 5.30pm
